The Tomb of Song Ci is a cultural heritage site protected at the municipal level in Jianyang District.

The Tomb of Song Ci is located in Chongluo Village, Chongluo Township, Jianyang District, dating back to the Song Dynasty.

The Tomb of Song Ci has been designated as a provincial-level cultural heritage protection site.

Song Ci (1186–1249), courtesy name Huifu, was a native of Jianyang (now part of Nanping, Fujian Province). He was an outstanding forensic scientist in ancient China, often referred to as the “Father of Forensic Science,” and authored the Collected Cases of Injustice Rectified. The West generally credits Song Ci with founding the field of “forensic pathology” in 1235.

　Song Ci’s ancestral home was in Nanhe County, Xingtai City, Hebei Province. A descendant of the Tang Dynasty chancellor Song Jing, he lived in Jianyang alongside the Neo-Confucian master Zhu Xi. Chongluo Village: Located at the center of the Chongluo Township government seat, Chongluo Village is the political and cultural hub of the township. It lies 32 kilometers from downtown Jianyang City and is the largest village in Chongluo Township. Its geographical coordinates are between 27°26′–27°33′ north latitude and 118°07′–118°15′ east longitude. To the east, it borders Shuiji Town in Huilong Township; to the west, it neighbors Jiangkou Town; to the south, it is adjacent to Youyou Town in Tongyou District; and to the north, it is close to Wufu Town in Mount Wuyi. The Qinxī Stream runs through the central area. The village spans 14.1 kilometers from north to south and 14.4 kilometers from east to west, covering a total area of 28.17 square kilometers.
