The Bowl Kiln Site is located in Xikou Village, Tongyou Subdistrict, Jianyang District, dating back to the Ming Dynasty.

The Bowl Kiln Site has been designated as a county-level cultural heritage protection unit.

Xikou Village: Xikou Village is situated in the northwest of Tongyou Subdistrict, on the west bank of the Chongyang Stream, within a river valley and mountain basin. The village office is 8 kilometers from the subdistrict office. To the east, across the stream, lies Xinling Village; to the south is Xincun Village; to the west, it borders Julukou Town; and to the north, it connects with Xian’an of Jiangkou Town. The Nanping–Wuyishan Highway and the Punan (Beijing–Taipei) Expressway run through the village. It currently administers the natural villages (or areas) of Nanlin, Lushang, Dingdun, Dun’tou, and Xizibian. The village has 11 villager groups, with 455 households and a population of 2,214.
