The Jiangkou Wang Family Ancestral Hall is located in Jiangkou Village, Jiangkou Town, Jianyang District, and dates back to the Qing Dynasty.

Jiangkou Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Jianyang City. In 1949, the Jiangkou District was established; in 1958, it was restructured into the Jiangkou People's Commune; in 1984, it became a township; and in 1992, it was upgraded to a town. It is situated in the northern part of the city, 13 kilometers from the municipal government. Covering an area of 195.2 square kilometers, it has a population of 19,000. The Fujian-Fen Highway passes through the town. The town administers 13 village committees: Jiangkou, Xian’an, Qinkou, Hengtang, Songbai, Shanwei, Dongtian, Xinjian, Huxiang, Huitan, Yangxiang, Nantai, and Shiweixia. Local township enterprises include factories (and mines) producing activated carbon, timber processing, canned goods, and fluorite.
