Longyan Xianhu Cave

Introduction

The cave is about 1,500 meters deep and twists through a winding, mysterious path. It features unique natural landscapes, with over ten chambers. Inside, stalactites, stalagmites, and stone curtains are well-developed, including attractions such as “Turtle Holding Up a Rock,” “Mandarin Ducks Playing in Water,” “Lion Raising Its Head,” and “Guanyin and Arhats.” The largest chamber, “West Sea Dragon Palace,” covers an area of about 10,000 square meters, with a ceiling over ten meters high. The cave is filled with towering rock formations and strewn with stalagmites. Inside the Dragon Palace, there is an underground lake that is fifty meters long and twenty meters wide. The water is crystal clear, five to six meters deep, and suitable for boating and swimming. In the middle of the lake stands a pillar reaching over ten meters high, uniquely shaped. When tapped, it resonates like a bell. Beside the lake, stone curtains hang dramatically into the water. Above the West Sea Dragon Palace lies “Immortal’s Street,” which is 150 meters long. At the entrance of the street is a connected cave where springs trickle mysteriously.
