Shishan Garden

Shishan Garden is located in Jiangshan Township, Xinluo District, Longyan. It is a newly developed scenic area in Longyan, locally referred to as the "Abandoned Village." Legend has it that there used to be a natural village here, but due to harsh living conditions, the villagers gradually relocated, leaving no residents behind—hence the name. The garden features continuous high peaks and steep cliffs. It lies to the north of the Meihua Mountain Nature Reserve, with rolling hills, encircling mountains and flowing waters, cascading streams and waterfalls, as well as bamboo fences and thatched cottages, presenting a picturesque rural scene. Along the way, there are lush forests, groves of bamboo, and fruit-filled orchards, creating enchanting scenery. In addition, visitors can explore attractions such as the "Sleeping Beauty," "The Goddess Mobilizing Her Troops," the "Great Cliff of Guansi Ridge," and Xianglin Temple. It is an ideal destination for leisure and vacation near downtown Longyan. It is truly the best time of spring—layer upon layer of emerald-green bamboo is as beautiful as jade, wild white roses bloom in full splendor, and the air is filled with a sweet fragrance almost intoxicating. Not long after passing the God of Wealth Temple, you’ll arrive at the stream. The stream babbles gently, with large rocks scattered across it, tree shadows slanting over the bank, and the pebbles at the bottom shimmering in dazzling colors under the sunlight.
