The Former Residence of Mao Zedong in Xinluo (Xinqiu Cuo) is a classic red tourism site and a base for patriotic education.

Xinqiu Cuo was built in the late Ming Dynasty as a single-story house with three halls and two wing rooms. Originally the residence of Wang Mingxuan, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Punishments in the late Ming Dynasty, it was renovated in the 14th year of the Guangxu reign during the Qing Dynasty. He Zizhen, female, also known as He Guiyuan, was born in 1904 in Huangzhuling Village, Yongxin County, Jiangxi Province. She graduated from Yongxin Women's Vocational School in 1925, joined the Communist Youth League of China in 1926, and became a member of the Communist Party of China in the same year.
