It is a single-story civil-structured building with two wing rooms, covering an area of 1,050 square meters. In the spring of 1921, Deng Zihui, Chen Ming, Zhang Duqi, and others held an progressive reading club called "Qishan Book Society" here. In September 1923, based on this, the first publication in western Fujian to promote Marxism-Leninism, the "Yansheng" newspaper, was founded here, exerting a profound influence on the revolution in western Fujian.
The hall is divided into eight sections, showcasing Deng Zihui’s revolutionary practices and important contributions in establishing the revolutionary base in western Fujian, the three-year guerrilla war, the War of Resistance against Japan, the Liberation War, and the agricultural collectivization efforts after the founding of New China.
