The Dianchang Building

The Dianchang Building is a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

The Dianchang Building is located in Zhongxin Village, Shizhong Town, Xinluo District, Longyan City. Also known as the "Ruiyun Building," it was built in the 49th year of the Qianlong reign during the Qing Dynasty (1784). Covering an area of 2,530 square meters, it is a four-story square earthen building with a hollow central courtyard and two wing buildings, constructed using rammed earth. The interior features exquisitely carved and ornate decorations, with door panels and walls adorned with maxims, poetry, and murals, while the wall base and floors are decorated with geometric patterns. The architectural structure is ingenious and well-arranged, with buildings encircling courtyards and courtyards within buildings, making it a typical example of square earthen building architecture. It was designated as a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit in 2006.

Zhongxin Village: Zhongxin Village is located at the center of Shizhong Town, bordered by Shangfang Mountain to the east, Zhongxi Village to the west and south, and separated from Yangdong Village by Lai Mountain to the north. National Highway 319 runs through the village, which is 36 kilometers from downtown Longyan. Zhongxin Village serves as the political, economic, trade, and cultural hub of Shizhong Town, and has historically been the seat of government for successive local administrations. It is also the border economic and trade center for counties (districts) such as Xinluo District, Yongding County, Zhangping City, and Nanjing County.
