The former site of the headquarters of the Fourth Red Army is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Fujian Province and a classic destination on the red tourism route.

The former site of the headquarters of the Fourth Red Army is located in Dongcheng Subdistrict, Xinluo District, Longyan City. Built in 1927, it covers an area of 341 square meters. The single-story, two-floor building features a brick-and-wood structure with an arcade-style façade and a post-and-lintel wooden frame. On June 19, 1929, after the Third Liberation of Longyan City by the Fourth Red Army of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army, the army's headquarters was established here, with Commander Zhu De among those residing here. Zhu De, Mao Zedong, and Chen Yi formulated the July Division Plan of the Fourth Red Army here. Later, the Second Soviet Government of Longyan County, the Sixth Administrative Commissioner’s Office of Fujian Province under the Kuomintang, and the Longyan Regional Administrative Office all had offices here. In 1985, it was designated as a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Fujian Province.
