Zhuguan Wen Clan Ancestral Hall

The Zhuguan Wen Clan Ancestral Hall is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Fujian Province.

The Zhuguan Wen Clan Ancestral Hall is located in Group 1 of Zhuguan Administrative Village, Wan’an Town, Xinluo District, Longyan City, Fujian Province. It is a single-hall, two-wing-room structure with side rooms and two enclosed wing wings, forming an enclosed courtyard-style earthen and wooden flat house facing south and built around 1785, during the late Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. Its central axis runs from north to south, successively featuring a stone-paved courtyard, the main gate, another stone-paved courtyard, a patio, and the rear hall. The rear hall is two bays wide, 6 meters deep, and 4 meters high overall, with a post-and-lintel wooden frame and a single-eave hip-and-gable roof covered with blue tiles. On both sides of the stone-paved patio courtyard are left and right wing wings. Wooden boards in the rear hall’s left and right wing rooms display notices celebrating Wen Zhaofeng's academic achievements. About 5 meters to the right of the main gate stands a flagpole. Except for the load-bearing walls, all rooms in the building are partitioned with fir wood. It serves as an important physical reference for studying the life of Wen Zhaofeng. In 2009, it was designated as part of the seventh batch of provincial-level cultural heritage sites.

Zhuguan Village: Located in the northern part of Wan’an Town, Zhuguan Village is 25.5 kilometers from the town center. It borders Liancheng’s Laiyuan to the northwest and neighbors Huan’keng and Gaosha to the east. It is a provincial-level historical and cultural village and a municipal-level civilized village. The village still retains well-preserved ancient residential buildings and temple complexes from the Ming and Qing dynasties. The village has a total of 1,839 mu of arable land and 23,225 mu of forestland, with a forest coverage rate of 85%. It administers five villager groups, comprising a total of 166 households and 610 people. The main surnames are Wen and Deng.
