Subang Dongyang Building

The Subang Dongyang Building is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Fujian Province.

The Subang Dongyang Building is located in Subang Village, Yanshi Town, Xinluo District. It was rebuilt in the 60th year of the Kangxi reign during the Qing Dynasty (1721). Oriented from east to west, it is a three-story square enclosed earthen building with an outer structure surrounding the main building, covering a total area of 5,000 square meters. The main building faces west, has three stories, is 15 meters high, and has walls 0.75 meters thick; the outer building is built around the main building, faces north, has two stories, is 9 meters high, and has walls 0.9 meters thick, with three corner positions featuring protruding 1.5-meter-high protective watchtowers. A moat surrounds the outer building. There is one well inside the building.
