Former Site of the Longyan Uprising — Meifu Ancestral Hall in Jiangshan Village

Located in Meifu Village, Jiangshan Town, Xinluo District, Longyan City, also known as Juxing Hall, it was built in the 33rd year of the Hongwu reign during the Ming Dynasty (1380). The structure faces southeast and is situated northwest, covering an area of 415 square meters. It has an earth-and-timber structure and consists of a single hall, two wing rooms, and two side rooms enclosing a courtyard. The building includes a grey-brick courtyard, main gate, central courtyard, side halls, and the main hall. The main hall features a post-and-lintel timber frame, a single-eave hip-and-gable roof, and is covered with blue tiles.

On May 22, 1949, Zhang Tangming, the then county magistrate of Longyan under the Kuomintang, led over 600 troops to declare an uprising here. They were later incorporated into the Fifth Regiment of the Minyuegan Column, contributing to the peaceful liberation of Longyan.

In 2018, it was designated as a sixth-batch county-level cultural relic protection unit by the Xinluo District Government.

Meifu Village: Located in the eastern part of Jiangshan Township, Meifu Village covers a total area of 5 square kilometers. The village consists of 13 natural villages, 20 villager groups, 510 households, and 1,610 residents. It has 1,547 mu of arable land and 23,000 mu of forested land, including approximately 10,000 mu of bamboo forests.
