Renhe Qiyun Tower is a cultural heritage site protected by Xinluo District.

Qiyun Tower is located at the southern foot of Pingshan Dasha Mountain in Baotai Natural Village, Renhe Village, Shizhong Town, Xinluo District, Longyan City, Fujian Province. It is a residential building of the Xie family, constructed in the 11th year of the Kangxi reign of the Qing Dynasty (1672) by four Xie brothers. The structure faces south and is a five-story square earthen-walled enclosed tower built with a hollow well layout. It consists of a front courtyard and the main tower: the main tower is 36.6 meters wide and 31.1 meters deep, with the outer walls of the ground floor being 1.35 meters thick and the inner walls 0.66 meters thick. The tower stands 18.70 meters high; the front courtyard is a two-story building. Each floor of the front courtyard and the rear tower has 22 rooms, totaling 110 rooms, 6 halls, and 2 wells for the entire tower, with a construction area of 1,702.26 square meters. Qiyun Tower is the tallest and most intact existing five-story square earthen tower in Fujian, with all depths uniformly 4.2 meters. It reflects the mature and refined design and architecture of earthen towers in Shizhong. In 2001, it was designated as a third batch county-level cultural heritage protection unit.
