Menggudui Site

The Menggudui Site is a cultural heritage protection unit of Dingyuan County.

The Menggudui Site is located in Mengyan Village, Lianjiang Town, dating back to the Han Dynasty. It is classified as an ancient site, covering an area of 83,200 square meters. It is among the third batch of cultural heritage protection units in Dingyuan County, with the official announcement number Ding Zheng Ban Mi {2011} No. 69.

Protected area: 50 meters in all directions — east, west, south, and north.

Construction control zone: 100 meters beyond the protected area in all directions — east, west, south, and north.

Lianjiang Town: Lianjiang Town in Dingyuan County is located 30 kilometers south of Dingcheng, commonly referred to as the southern gateway of Dingyuan County. The town's name comes from the Lianjiang Dam within its territory. Oriented southwest to northeast, it borders Feidong County to the south, Zhangan Township and Zhangqiao Town to the north, Jiangji Township to the west, and Erlong Township to the east. The Chihe River flows through the town over a stretch of 30 kilometers. After the consolidation of towns in December 2001, the former Guoji Township was merged into Lianjiang Town. It currently governs 24 administrative villages, 253 villager groups, 210 natural hamlets, 8,950 households, with a population of 40,000.
