Taiwan’s highest New Year’s Eve celebration is at Qingjing！The Nantou Qingjing New Year’s Eve party takes place at 3 PM on December 31 at the Uni-President Qingjing Mall with the “Starry Sky EDM Snow Party”. Performers including the Northern Plains Tribe Cats, B1 Band, and rising indigenous artist Wu Yiwei will ring in the New Year with the public. As the countdown nears, snow machines will blanket the sky with flakes.

Qingjing is not only a popular destination for international travelers, but its altitude of 2000 meters also makes it Taiwan’s best spot for stargazing. The organizers have continued last year’s “Starry Sky EDM” New Year’s concept and expanded the scale with multiple snow machines, creating a dreamy party woven together by starry skies, electronic music, and falling snow.

This year, aside from preparing many exciting New Year’s activities to bid farewell to 2015, the organizers also call on the public to pay attention to the needs of underprivileged children during this cold, dark night. They hope attendees will support the on-site charity bazaar. At the same time, through carefully planned events such as indigenous song and dance performances, EDM parties, starry snow welcomes, and Hohuan sunrise tours, everyone can welcome 2016 together.
