Bamboo Pier Temple Ruins

The Bamboo Pier Temple Ruins are a cultural heritage protection unit of Dingyuan County.

The Bamboo Pier Temple Ruins are located in Chengqiao Village, Dingcheng Town, dating back to the Han Dynasty. Categorized as an ancient ruin, the site covers an area of 19,800 square meters. It is listed as one of the third batch of cultural heritage protection units in Dingyuan County, with the official announcement number Ding Zheng Ban Mi {2011} No. 69.

Protected area: 20 meters south of the ruins to Provincial Highway 311.

Construction control zone: 20 meters west to the riverbank, 50 meters east and north respectively; 50 meters east and north respectively.

Chengqiao Village: Chengqiao Village is located five kilometers west of Dingcheng, covering an area of approximately four square kilometers. It has about 6,756 mu of arable land, administers 18 villager groups, and has a population of 3,500, including 460 people working outside the village. The village has 9 village cadres (including 1 cadre assigned by the county) and over 100 Communist Party members. The village features the Chengqiao Dam and the Youth Dam, enjoying relatively good water conservancy conditions. Major agricultural products include rice, wheat, corn, peanuts, and cotton. There are 1,300 mu of aquaculture areas, including intensively managed fish ponds that sell both fish fry and adult fish.
