Kao Shan Guan Di Temple is a cultural relic protection unit of Dingyuan County.

Kao Shan Guan Di Temple is located on the north side of Kao Shan Village Street in Yongkang Town. It dates back to the Qing Dynasty, is categorized as an ancient architectural structure, and covers an area of 110.6 square meters. It is a cultural relic protection unit of the third batch designated by Dingyuan County, with the announcement document number Ding Zheng Ban Mi {2011} No. 69.

Protected area: 30 meters in all directions—east, west, south, and north.

Construction control zone: 20 meters beyond the protected area in all directions—east, west, south, and north.

Kao Shan Village: Kao Shan Village is located in the northern part of Yongkang Town and governs 25 villager groups, with 1,219 households and a population of 5,169. The cultivated land area is 5,981 mu. The main agricultural products are wheat, corn, peanuts, and watermelon. The area is rich in mountain and stone resources, features a beautiful environment, has profound cultural heritage, and a long history. During the Chu-Han contention, after Xiang Yu was defeated at Gaixia, he broke through the encirclement, crossed the Huai River, and set up camp at the top of Wufeng Mountain, which later became known as Ba Wang Zhai (Overlord’s Stronghold). Legend has it that Xiang Yu fled south carrying the head of Yu Ji, and when escaping to a deep pool south of Kao Shan, his horse leapt over a stone ridge.
