China Stone Garden

China Stone Garden is a national AA-level tourist attraction.

Located on the north side of the outer ring road of Tianjin (section in Shuanggang Town, Jinnan District), it was built in 1997. The garden houses a massive Lingbi stone, which naturally resembles the map of China, hence its name. The first phase of the project, including six exhibition halls, four scenic spots, and a corridor with springs and pools, has been completed and is open to visitors. The garden’s stone collection venues include six halls: “Listening to Stones Pavilion,” “Exotic Stones Museum,” “Contemplating Stones Studio,” “Stone Spring Cave,” “Treasure Collection Pavilion,” and “Reflections Tower.” Additionally, there are four scenic areas: “Stone Forest Close-ups,” “Thousand-Layer Silk Hangings,” “Lotus Waterfall,” and “Hidden Paradise.” The garden also features artworks such as famous paintings, root carvings, steles, and wood carvings by renowned artists from the Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts to enhance visitors’ appreciation.
