The Tianjin Binhai Ornamental Fish Science and Technology Park is affiliated with the National Agricultural Science and Technology Park. It is a national comprehensive agricultural development project and was included in the third batch of municipal and district-level key projects in Tianjin in 2009. Part of the Tianjin Binhai Liuda Agricultural Science and Technology Park, it covers an area of 1,062 mu with a total construction area of 370,000 square meters. The park centers around ornamental fish and the International Fishing Federation base, and also features a World Culture Zone, high-efficiency agriculture, fishing, shrimp fishing areas, indoor angling, and outdoor lure fishing, allowing visitors to experience a leisurely fish-centric lifestyle. The park combines technology with leisure activities—visitors can tour ornamental fish exhibitions; in the high-efficiency agriculture area, they can experience soil-less cultivation and sample fresh, pesticide- and fertilizer-free produce; the World Culture Zone offers a taste of global cultures without leaving the park; at the International Fishing Federation site, visitors can enjoy the fun of water golf, while the unique lake-island setup provides top-tier facilities for fishing enthusiasts.
