The Bengbu Revolutionary History Exhibition Hall is a patriotic education base.

The Bengbu Revolutionary History Exhibition Hall is located at the foot of Cao Mountain in the eastern suburbs of the city, covering an area of nearly 50 acres. With beautiful scenery where mountains and water complement each other, it serves as an important site for revolutionary tradition education and patriotic education. The late Li Xiannian, Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, inscribed the inscription “Eternal Glory to the Revolutionary Martyrs” on the monument and also wrote the name of the “Bengbu Revolutionary History Exhibition Hall.” The Revolutionary History Monument leans against Cao Mountain and faces Longhu Lake, standing 15.85 meters tall. The exhibition hall displays the history of Bengbu’s revolutionary development from the Xinhai Revolution to the eve of liberation. Through a large number of photographs, paintings, historical materials, and artifacts, it vividly recreates the magnificent and glorious journey. Among them are Chen Liang and Song Yulin, two of the 72 martyrs of Huanghuagang who sacrificed their lives during the Xinhai Revolution; Yang Zhaocheng, a martyr who died at the foot of Xiaonanshan in Bengbu during the Great Revolution. He was the first Communist Party member to die a martyr in Anhui, at the young age of 24, along with martyrs such as Zhu Wuping, Li Wenzong, Zhou Qibang, and Wang Zhao. Central leaders including Bo Yibo, Zhang Aiping, Zhang Zhen, and Zhang Canming inscribed words of remembrance for the exhibition hall. Since its opening, the hall has received nearly one million visitors and has been well received by cadres and the public from all walks of life.
