Dream Your Way into a Wonderland Without Bumps: Traffic Info for the 2015 Calla Lily Festival at Zhuzihu

Spring has arrived, and the pure white, fresh calla lilies are in full bloom Up！The Zhuzihu Calla Lily Festival, kicking off on March 20, takes "Dreaming Your Way into a Wonderland – Zhuzihu" as its theme this year, using characters and scenes from “Alice in Wonderland” as the main concept for landscape design (As shown in the photo below / Photo by Reporter Tsai Wen-jun), adding a touch of dreamy charm and childlike fun to Zhuzihu.

To align with the flower season, traffic control measures will be implemented in the Zhuzihu area. Details are as follows:

Traffic Control Implementation Dates and Times
To coincide with the Yangmingshan Flower Season, the controlled weekend hours (including March 21, 22, 28, 29, April 3, 4, 5, 6, 11, 12, 18, 19, 25, 26) for the Zhuzihu area will see uphill traffic controlled from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and downhill traffic from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The restrictions apply to private cars and trucks, but local police stations may adjust times flexibly based on traffic conditions.

Traffic Control Methods
For the 2015 Calla Lily Festival, the controlled traffic zone implements one-way, clockwise traffic control from Hutian Bridge westward along Calla Lily Boulevard to the fork leading to Zhongzheng Mountain; the section east of Hutian Bridge to Dinghu remains two-way. The Dinghu section is one-way only with no U-turns allowed. Vehicles must exit via the newly built stone path toward Yangjin Highway, or via Zhuzihu Road toward Balaka Highway, or descend through the Zhonghu Combat Readiness Road.

Public Transport Options
Take bus 129 or mini-bus 9 from Beitou MRT Station directly to Zhuzihu.
Take bus 128 or mini-bus 8 from Shihpai MRT Station directly to Zhuzihu.
Take bus 260 (including branch routes and Flower Clock Line) from Taipei Main Station to Yangmingshan Second Parking Lot, then transfer to mini-buses 8, 9, 128, 129, or 131 to reach Zhuzihu.
Take buses 127, Red 5, 260 (including branch routes and Flower Clock Line), 109, or 111 from Jiantan MRT Station to Yangmingshan Second Parking Lot, then transfer to mini-buses 8, 9, 128, 129, or 131 to reach Zhuzihu.
Take mini-buses 8, 9, 128, 129, or 131 from Yangmingshan Park Flower Clock or Second Parking Lot directly to Zhuzihu. Stops include Hutian Elementary School Station – Zhuzihu Station – Target Range Station – Fengguikou Station – Dinghu Station.
