Times Memory Memorial Hall

The Times Memory Memorial Hall is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

The Tianjin Times Memory Memorial Hall is located in Jinnan District, Tianjin, and was officially opened on December 26, 2013, the 120th anniversary of Chairman Mao’s birth. The memorial hall is a public welfare project invested in by Tianjin Rockcheck Group with the support of the Jinnan District Government and various sectors of society. It is dedicated to preserving red culture and promoting patriotism through an extensive collection of era-specific memorabilia and precious photographs. By revisiting these historical memories, the hall seeks to purify the soul, inspire enthusiasm for a healthy and positive life, motivate those who are diligently working with a sense of responsibility, influence the youth of the nation, and establish itself as a patriotic education base in Tianjin and beyond that spreads positive energy.

The memorial hall consists of a Time Tunnel, eight exhibition halls, two experience rooms, one screening hall, and one revolutionary education meeting room. Its most striking feature is the magnificent Time Tunnel symbolizing the spirit of the Long March. A high-definition LED screen displays the great achievements of Chairman Mao from 1921 to 1949, and a bronze statue of Chairman Mao stands solemnly at the top of the tunnel. The walls of the exhibition halls on both sides of the tunnel display 200 representative vintage photographs of Chairman Mao from the 1950s to the 1970s, while the display cases house a rich variety of red-themed memorabilia.

Following the opening of the memorial hall, Rockcheck Group will continue to invest in the construction of the Times Memory Park and Times Memory Square, providing a comprehensive space for people in Tianjin and across the country to revisit and experience the “Times Memory.”
