Liuli Temple is a cultural tourism attraction.

Liuli Temple in Jieshou City is located in Linneng Village, Tianying Town. It was originally built during the Sui Dynasty, flourished in the Tang Dynasty, and the current structure is a reconstruction on the original site.

The temple was formerly known as Liulong Temple, which in turn was originally called Wufu Temple. According to legend, Emperor Li Shimin was born in Wufu Temple. During the Sui and Tang dynasties, Liuli Temple covered an area of 3,000 mu and comprised over 30 temples of various sizes, with a thousand monks. The main deity worshipped at Liuli Temple was the Medicine Buddha. At that time, the temple was bustling with incense smoke and radiant with spiritual energy, making it one of the major temples in China during the Sui and Tang periods. The Medicine Buddha is the lord of the Eastern Pure Lapis Lazuli World and emits a purple lapis lazuli light, hence the name Eastern Pure Lapis Lazuli World. Together with Shakyamuni Buddha and Amitabha Buddha, he is one of the Three Buddhas of Buddhism, also known as the Three Honored Ones of Buddhism.
