The Temple of the Great Yellow is a cultural relic protection unit of Fuyang City.

The Temple of the Great Yellow is located 200 meters east of the Dahuang Town Government in Jieshou City. Originally built during the Tang Dynasty, it has a long history and wide influence, and was constructed to commemorate Fuxi, the legendary ancestor of humanity. During the annual temple fair, crowds of worshippers fill the area, with its upturned eaves, carved beams, and clouds of incense creating a spectacular scene.

The Temple of the Great Yellow is an intangible cultural heritage of Anhui Province and a municipal-level cultural relic protection unit of Fuyang City. It covers an area of 13 mu, with over 30 rooms, and is currently undergoing planning and construction for the Fuxi Cultural Park. As you enter through the main gate, right in the center is the Hall of the Great Emperor of the Eastern Peak, housing the statue of the deity Huang Feihu, flanked on both sides by the Four Heavenly Kings. The Hall of the Great Emperor of the Eastern Peak is the oldest part of the Temple of the Great Yellow, and the wood carvings on display still bear witness to the passage of time. The ancient wooden pillars have been repainted, but one can still faintly see their age through the cracks in the wood grain, while the stone drums below have been worn extremely smooth. The large blue bricks on the back wall of the hall are all over a foot thick. The roof is covered with colorful glazed tiles, retaining an ancient charm that is simple and elegant.
