Thirty Posts Township Ecological Agriculture Tourism Scenic Area

The Thirty Posts Township Ecological Agriculture Tourism Scenic Area is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

The Thirty Posts Township Ecological Agriculture Tourism Area is situated in the northwest of Luyang District, Hefei City, 15 kilometers from the city center and 12 kilometers from Xinzhao International Airport. It lies to the south of the sparkling Dongpu Reservoir and to the north of the meandering, scenic Chuhe Main Canal, serving as a vital water conservation zone for Hefei City. The township administers nine administrative villages with a total population of 14,100 and covers a total area of 32.4 square kilometers. Within its bounds lie historic sites and unique cultural attractions such as the national AAAA-level Sanguo New City Ruins Park, built in 233 AD, Lipailou (Plaque Archway), Mashi Temple (Horse God Temple), Han-style Cultural Tourism Street, and Jimingsancounty (Rooster Crowing Across Three Counties). It is a comprehensive ecological agriculture tourism area integrating natural pastoral scenery, leisure eco-agriculture, historical culture, and folk culture.

In recent years, under the correct leadership of the Luyang District Party Committee and government, the Thirty Posts Township Party Committee and government have transformed their development approach. By implementing strategies to revitalize the township through openness, beautify it through ecology, and prosper it through tourism, they have accelerated industrial restructuring and the development of eco-agriculture. Upholding ecological priority, they have continuously fostered a leisure and sightseeing tourism economy, striving to build China’s most beautiful countryside and charting a distinctive path suited to local development. The township has successively earned honors such as National AAAA-Level Ecological Tourism Scenic Area, Anhui Province Beautiful Environment Township, Anhui Province Excellent Tourism Township, Anhui Province Leisure Agriculture and Rural Tourism Star-Rated Demonstration Park, Anhui Province Provincial-Level Service Industry Cluster Zone, Anhui Province Civilized Township, Hefei City Civilized Township, and one of Hefei City’s Top 20 Townships for Afforestation (2011–2012).
