Sujiabu Campaign Memorial Hall

The Sujiabu Campaign Memorial Hall is a cultural relic protection unit of Anhui Province, a classic red tourism scenic spot, and a patriotic education base.

The Sujiabu Campaign Memorial Park is located by the Hengpaitou Reservoir in Lu'an City, Anhui Province, covering an area of 160 acres with an investment of 7 million yuan. It includes the Marshal Xu Xiangqian Square, the Sujiabu Campaign Memorial Hall, and more. The Xu Jishen Memorial Park is situated in Qingshan Township, Yu'an District, with an investment of 5 million yuan and covering 20 acres. The park features a white marble statue of General Xu Jishen, a memorial hall, and more. From March 22 to May 8, 1932, Marshal Xu Xiangqian commanded the Fourth Red Army in a fierce battle against the Nationalist forces in Sujiabu Town, Lu'an City, laying the foundation for revolutionary victory in the Hubei-Henan-Anhui region.

The Zhu Family Courtyard in the southeast of the town was the former headquarters of the Fourth Red Army during the Sujiabu Campaign. It has now been turned into an exhibition hall, with an inscription by Marshal Xu Xiangqian. The campaign site is a provincial-level key cultural relic protection unit.

In December 2016, the Sujiabu Campaign Memorial Park was included in the "National Red Tourism Attractions Directory."

Xu Jishen (1901–1931), courtesy name Jinsheng, originally named Xu Shaozhou, courtesy name Danru, was a native of Lu'an County. As a child, he attended a private school. Xu Xiangqian (1901–1990), originally named Xu Xiangqian, courtesy name Zijing, was a native of Wutai County, Shanxi Province. He was a great proletarian revolutionary, outstanding military strategist, and statesman. He was one of the founders and leaders of the People's Liberation Army of China, and one of the Ten Marshals of the PLA.
