The Jiugongzhai Rock Carvings are a cultural relic protection unit of Lu’an City.

The main scenic area of Jiugongzhai Scenic Spot is located in Shibanchong Township, Yu’an District, and is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction. Among its highlights is the ancient “Water-Dripping Guanyin” rock carving, which is an important part of Jiugongzhai’s Buddhist history and culture. Preliminary assessments by experts suggest that the carving dates back to the Tang Dynasty, making it a significant historical and religious cultural heritage.

The municipal government’s inclusion of the Jiugongzhai Rock Carvings as a key municipal cultural relic protection unit will facilitate their preservation, management, and rational utilization, while also contributing to further research into the Buddhist history and religious culture of Jiugongzhai.
