Anhui Qiupu River Source National Wetland Park is a national-level wetland park.

Anhui Qiupu River Source National Wetland Park is located in the upper reaches of the Qiupu River within Shitai County in the mountainous region of southern Anhui. The area features well-preserved wetland ecosystems, abundant biodiversity, significant ecological importance, distinctive wetland characteristics, and natural river forms, making it a typical representative of mountainous river wetlands in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River.

The wetland park extends from Baishan Ferry in the north to Gangkou in the east, and to the source of the river in the south. It includes sections of the Qiupu River, Hongling River, and the entire Gongxin River. Its geographical coordinates range from 117°16′38" to 117°35′30" east longitude and from 30°02′05" to 30°11′41" north latitude. It spans Xianyu Town, Dayan Township, and Hengdu Town, with a total length of 65.6 km and a coverage area of 1,850 hectares. The park is divided into four functional zones: the Wetland Conservation Area, Wetland Education and Exhibition Area, Wetland Rational Utilization Area, and Management and Service Area.

Visitors entering the scenic area can try their hand at traditional oil pressing with an iron hammer, experience pushing stone mills, grinding rice, pedaling water wheels, collecting pebbles, and smashing water turtles in ancient woodlands. They can also swim, play volleyball, and enjoy other water activities at the sandy beach leisure area, take bamboo raft rides, and admire sights along the way such as Dengzhan Ferry, Banqiao Moon Split, Eagle Catching Fish, Dinosaur Crossing the River, Yuanbao Mountain, Swallow Cave, Tiger Head Temple, Hippo Watching Fish, Great Meadow, ancient trees, ancient bridges, ancient paths, Lion Pool, Li Bai’s Fishing Terrace, the wreckage site of a Japanese military aircraft, and a Neolithic cultural site. The river water is crystal clear and the course winds with thrilling rapids and hazardous shoals—making it a great spot for rafting and leisure.
