Taoyuan Airport Adds 500 Charging Stations — Charge for Free at These Spots

During layovers at the airport, many travelers take out their phones to pass the time, but often end up with a dead battery and struggle to find an available power outlet. To address this, Taoyuan Airport has installed over 500 free charging stations across its Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, offering more convenience for travelers.

Taoyuan Airport has integrated charging devices into its seating, with each waiting area equipped with 8 to 12 USB dual-purpose charging stations. The newly opened passenger lounges in Terminals 1 and 2 also feature numerous free charging spots. Travelers can also borrow tokens from service desks to securely charge their phones while stepping away.

Additionally, multiple charging services are available in the arrivals hall of Terminal 2, including 40 power outlets and USB dual-purpose charging stations on both sides of the scenic elevators. The 110 cm-high, off-white artificial stone countertops are 35 cm deep, doubling as simple writing desks for passenger convenience. Charging equipment is also available on both sides of the seating in the arrivals hall, allowing friends and family picking up passengers to charge their phones while waiting.
