Green Circle Art Festival: Creative Grass Turned into a Swimming Pool

The 2016 "Green Circle Flip Action Ready Go" launched on Lushui Road and will run until September 4. By integrating surrounding business areas and historic homes, the whole city becomes a massive outdoor performance venue, featuring numerous diverse cultural and art events that invite everyone to take part.

The Green Circle Art Festival, held many times before, transforms Lushui Road into a grand creative arts space every summer vacation. A variety of quirky, imaginative, and out-of-the-box ideas bring constant surprises. Through the integration of the Lushui Road business district and large interactive installation artworks, both adults and children can join in the creative process, sparking boundless imagination.

This year, the Green Circle’s curatorial focus shifts from installation art to participatory action. The "Green Circle District Sports Day" turns the勤 Art Museum into a large outdoor sports field, "Summer Daydreams" aims to spark collective imagination, and "Play Through Life" encourages everyone to let go of the clutter of daily life and embrace a fresh, flipped attitude toward living.
