During layovers at the airport, many travelers take out their phones to pass the time, but often accidentally drain the battery. When they look for a power outlet, it’s usually “hard to come by.” To address this, Taoyuan Airport has installed over 500 sets of free charging stations in both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, offering travelers more convenient service.

Taoyuan Airport has integrated charging equipment into airport seating, and each waiting lounge is also equipped with 8 to 12 USB dual-purpose charging stations. The newly opened free areas in the passenger lounges of Terminals 1 and 2 also feature numerous charging services. Travelers can also borrow tokens from the service desk to lock their phones in place while charging and leave temporarily with peace of mind.

In addition, multiple charging services are available in the arrivals hall of Terminal 2, including 40 power outlets and USB dual-purpose charging stations on both sides of the scenic elevators. The outlets are 110 cm high, ergonomically designed, with an ivory-colored artificial stone surface that is 35 cm deep, also functioning as a simple writing desk for passenger convenience. Both sides of the seating in the arrivals hall are equipped with charging devices, allowing friends and family picking up passengers to charge their phones while seated.
