Qiupu River Rafting is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

The Qiupu River originates from Liwushan Mountain (historically part of Qiupu County, now in Keti Township, Shitai County, Anhui Province) and flows into the Yangtze River at Duwu in Xinghua Village, Guichi. With a total length of 180 kilometers, the river runs from south to north through the town. The scenic riverbanks boast picturesque landscapes and charming views, featuring historic sites such as the Ancient Stone City Ruins, Zhaoming Fishing Terrace, and Yangtang Paradise. It is a major component of the provincial-level scenic area known as "Qiupu Wonderland."

The poetic genius Li Bai visited Qiupu "five times" between the eighth year of the Tianbao era and the second year of the Shangyuan era (749–761 AD) during the Tang Dynasty, leaving behind 45 magnificent poems and many captivating legends. Historical figures and literati have followed in his footsteps, seeking out its hidden beauty and leaving tens of thousands of literary masterpieces. As a result, the beautiful Qiupu River is hailed as the "River That Flows with Poetry." Visitors to the Qiupu River scenic area can personally try their hand at using an iron hammer to experience the joy of traditional oil pressing, push stone mills, hull rice, pedal water wheels, collect pebbles, and smash water turtles in ancient woodlands. They can also swim and play volleyball or enjoy other water activities at the sandy beach, take bamboo raft rides, and admire attractions along the way such as Lampstand Ferry, Moon Split by the Wooden Bridge, Eagle Catching Fish, Dinosaur Crossing the River, Yuanbao Mountain, Swallow Cave, Tiger Head Temple, Hippo Watching Fish, Great Meadow, ancient trees, ancient bridges, ancient paths, Lion Pool, Li Bai’s Fishing Terrace, the crash site of a Japanese military plane, and a Neolithic cultural site. The river boasts crystal-clear, emerald-green waters with a visible bottom, winding and twisting waterways, perilous shoals, and rapid currents, making it an ideal destination for rafting and leisure.
