Huxi Hu Clan Ancestral Hall
The Huxi Hu Clan Ancestral Hall is a cultural relic protection unit of Anhui Province.
The Huxi Hu Clan Ancestral Hall is located in Shitai County, Chizhou City, dating back to the Qing Dynasty.
It was built in the eighth year of the Tongzhi reign during the Qing Dynasty (1869 AD), featuring Huizhou-style architecture with a post-and-lintel structure and a Dougong-style roof. It covers a total area of 1,431 square meters, with a built-up area of 576 square meters.
In 2012, the Huxi Hu Clan Ancestral Hall was announced by the People’s Government of Anhui Province as part of the seventh batch of provincial-level cultural relic protection units.
Protected area: Extending 1 meter to the east and west beyond the surrounding walls, 50 meters to the south, and 2 meters to the north.
Construction control zone: Extending 1 meter to the east and west, and 10 meters to the south and north beyond the protected area.
