The Wang Family Ancestral Hall in Shitai is a cultural relic protection unit of Anhui Province.

The Wang Family Ancestral Hall is located in Lianxi Village, Languan Township, Shitai County.

The Wang Family Ancestral Hall has a side-protruding floor plan, with an overall width of 24.4 meters, a total depth of 32.7 meters, and seven bays, covering a total area of approximately 800 square meters. It features a surrounding corridor at the front, a central courtyard, and drum-shaped stone blocks at the entrance. In terms of column layout, it follows the “full-hall column” construction style, with thick, prism-shaped columns, mainly resting on inverted-bowl style bases. The front eaves and corridor eaves employ the Ming Dynasty-style interlocking rafter technique. The bracket arms are intricately carved with clear layering. Judging from the structure and characteristics of the ancestral hall’s beams, columns, and brackets, it exhibits architectural features typical of the late Ming Dynasty.
