The Tomb of Jiao Zhongqing and Liu Lanzhi (Peacock Tomb) is a cultural heritage site protected at the municipal level in Anqing.

The Tomb of Jiao Zhongqing and Liu Lanzhi (Peacock Tomb) is located in Xiaoguan Village, Xiaoshi Port, Xiaozhen Town, Huaining County, dating back to the Han Dynasty.

On September 22, 2017, the Tomb of Jiao Zhongqing and Liu Lanzhi (Peacock Tomb) was designated as part of the seventh batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units in Anqing City.

Xiaozhen Town: Located in the western part of Huaining County along the middle reaches of the Wan River, Xiaozhen Town covers an area of 52.23 square kilometers, with a population of 25,000. It administers seven administrative villages and one neighborhood committee. Historically known as “Xiaoli Port,” also called “Jiao Li Port,” old records state that it “got its name from Jiao Zhongqing, a minor official of Lujiang Commandery in the Han Dynasty.” The site has existed since the Han Dynasty and is the setting of the famous Eastern Han Yuefu long poem “The Peacock Flies Southeast.”

Xiaozhen Town enjoys a superior location and convenient transportation. National Highway 318 and the Shanghai–Chengdu Expressway run through the town.
