Daoguang Hydrological Stele

The Daoguang Hydrological Stele is a municipal-level cultural heritage site protected by Anqing City.

The Daoguang Hydrological Stele is located in Shiku Village, Hongpu Town, Huaining County, dating back to the 29th year of the Daoguang reign during the Qing Dynasty (1849).

On October 23, 2012, the Daoguang Hydrological Stele was designated as part of the sixth batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units in Anqing City.

Hongpu Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Huaining County. It was established as Hongzhen Township in 1957, reorganized as a commune in 1958, reverted to township status in 1984, and upgraded to Hongpu Town in 1992. Located in the southern part of the county, it is 23 kilometers from the county seat. Covering an area of 82.7 square kilometers with a population of 40,000, it is traversed by the Shizi Kou–Pingshan Highway and the Yueshan–Hongzhen Highway. The town administers 18 village committees: Jiedao, Hongguang, Chang’an, Xinlong, Wuqiao, Dongfeng, Yetang, Shiku, Hongzhen, Songyan, Wanghe, Sanling, Xuetang, Xinchen’geng, Huangshan, Yangshan, Shuangqiao, and Songgang.
