Liu Ran Gong (1893–1938), courtesy name Zhongru, was a Hui ethnic group member from Wuqing, Tianjin. He was a renowned patriotic newspaper publisher. In 1924, he co-founded the *New Tianjin Newspaper* with Duan Songpo and Xue Yuelou. Later, he also published other periodicals such as the *New Tianjin Evening News*, *Literary Newspaper*, *New Tianjin Pictorial*, and *New People Monthly*. The former residence is a two-story brick-and-wood building with a semi-basement. It has an imposing overall structure that is both rational and aesthetically pleasing. Covering a land area of 2,330.16 square meters and a built-up area of 3,607.5 square meters, it is a two-story brick-and-wood building with a semi-basement. The exterior features projecting veranda columns, a red-tiled sloping roof, and dormer windows. Both ends are connected to towers, giving the entire structure an imposing appearance, rational layout, and aesthetic beauty. It is relatively well-preserved.
