The Piggy Pit Waterfall is located in Huangpoling within the Shangougu Scenic Area. It has poor accessibility — you have to hike up along the stream with a narrow mountain path, facing Anji’s Dali Mountain. Legend says the Piggy Pit Waterfall was where immortals herded pigs, which later formed a natural pool about 6 square meters in size. It lies along a section of the stream in Huangpoling. This section of the stream is approximately 4 kilometers long, with crystal-clear water and an elevation of about 212 meters. The Piggy Pit Waterfall divides the stream into two parts, creating a roughly 10-meter drop with fast-flowing water about 4 meters high and a small pooling area. The rocks in this stream section are gravel rocks, and the area is flanked by dense bamboo and pine forests.
