The Yuhang District Homestay and Agritainment Industry Association was officially established today.

On July 12, the inaugural meeting of the Yuhang District Homestay and Agritainment Industry Association was grandly held at the Fubon International Hotel. Attending the event were over a hundred people, including Li Zhongyu, Deputy Secretary of the Yuhang District Committee, heads of relevant departments such as the District Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau, Yuhang Branch of the Municipal Public Security Bureau, Civil Affairs Bureau, Finance Bureau, Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports Bureau, Health Bureau, and Market Supervision Bureau, as well as representatives from the association and media.

The assembly elected the first council, and during the subsequent first council meeting, the association’s president, executive vice president, vice presidents, and secretary-general were elected. Zhu XiaoKui, owner of Ganhuangwan Homestay in Siling Village, Jingshan Town, was elected as the association’s president.

At the meeting, Secretary Li Zhongyu presented the plaque to the Yuhang District Homestay and Agritainment Industry Association. Secretary Li pointed out: “Yuhang’s homestays and agritainment businesses are a distinctive golden calling card showcasing the new developments in the district’s agricultural and rural economy. To further develop them, we must follow a path of standardization, clustering, and innovation. The establishment of the district homestay and agritainment association marks an important step forward. We hope the association will become one that is beloved by its members, a top-tier organization in the industry, a window for Yuhang to showcase itself externally, a bridge between practitioners and the government, and will lead the vigorous development of all homestays and agritainment businesses in the district, striving to be the best in the province and among the leaders nationwide!”

It is reported that in recent years, Yuhang District has consistently adhered to the concept of advancing homestays (and agritainment) alongside the development of beautiful countryside. Through scientific planning, clear construction standards, increased support, and strengthened management measures, the homestay (and agritainment) economy has seen rapid growth, with a large number of high-quality homestays standing out. During this period, designers, homestay operators, and renowned homestay brands from across the country have settled here. As of now, Yuhang has more than 450 homestays (and agritainment businesses), including 17 municipal-level homestay demonstration sites and 114 district-level or higher-grade quality homestays (and agritainment businesses). Six provincial and municipal-level agritainment characteristic villages have also been developed.

The establishment of the Yuhang District Homestay and Agritainment Industry Association marks a new stage of standardized management and orderly advancement for the district’s homestay industry, providing homestay operators with a systematic, broad, and platform-based development organization. It is believed that through the joint efforts of all sectors, the Yuhang homestay (and agritainment) brand will be further promoted, and the district’s homestay and agritainment economy will reach new heights.
