Shuangxi Rafting Scenic Area Lu Yu Mountain Villa. The earliest monograph on tea in China, written by Lu Yu, the Tea Sage of the Tang Dynasty. Lu Yu (733–804), from Jīnglíng in Fùzhōu during the Tang Dynasty, styled himself Sangzhu Wēng. A lifelong tea enthusiast, he authored The Classic of Tea, which has been passed down through the ages. The Lu Yu Tea Culture Exhibition Hall displays The Classic of Tea, historical tea utensils, tea production tools, the packaging of Jing Shan tea through the years, and a poetry and painting exhibition room dedicated to Lu Yu's tea culture. The Stele Corridor features inscriptions of The Classic of Tea, comprising a total of 16 stone tablets with over 7,200 characters.
