Liangzhu Jade Culture Park is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Liangzhu Jade Culture Park is an important part of the "Great Beautiful Continent Tourism Complex." It covers a planned area of 50 acres with a construction area of 15,000 square meters. It lies to the south of the Liangzhu Museum and to the west of the Liangzhu National Heritage Park, forming a layout where research is in the south, industry in the north, history in the west, and modernity in the east. Drawing on the rich cultural legacy of Liangzhu jade culture, the park develops a cultural and creative industry. It includes three major functional areas: a master creators’ zone, a display and exchange zone, and a living support and management zone, along with related management and living amenities. It serves as a comprehensive platform for the exhibition, appreciation, research, exchange, promotion, and development of jade culture and jade products. The park is committed to creating an ideal space for work, living, and tourism that embodies "cultural sharing, elegant surroundings, and mutual advantages" within the jade culture and creativity sphere.

Functional Zones

The park is divided into three major functional zones: the master creators’ zone, the display and exchange zone, and the living support and management zone. These cover jade artifact exhibitions, jade appreciation, jade product development, jade trading, jade auctions, jade collecting, as well as jade culture research and exchange.

The master creators’ zone is arranged in the form of artists’ studios and is located on the eastern side of the park. It has welcomed seven renowned domestic art masters and four art institutions. It is gradually being developed into a high-quality workspace for professionals in jade appreciation and research, as well as an academic hub for jade culture studies.

The display and exchange zone is designed as a club-style venue, serving as an elegant and accessible platform for showcasing jade culture. It includes jade appreciation displays, conference exchanges, jewelry and jade appraisal, as well as auction activities. The zone mainly exhibits classic traditional jade artifacts and contemporary artworks by master artists, providing a space for viewing and interaction for high-end individuals or groups who are passionate about jewelry and jade appreciation, collecting, and jade culture. It also offers professional consultation, valuation, appraisal, and transaction services for jade trading. The goal is to establish a premier destination in Hangzhou, East China, and even nationally for the exhibition, appreciation, research, exchange, promotion, and development of jade culture and products. While showcasing creations, it also functions as a trading space for both traditional and contemporary jade masterpieces.

Living Support and Management Zone

The living support and management zone is situated on the western and northern sides of the park, offering related living amenities and management services including dormitories, dining facilities, a specialty coffee bar, a cultural and sports activity center, and park management offices. It provides policy guidance and attentive services for resident institutions, and offers a relaxed and pleasant leisure environment for master creation and display exchange activities.

Liangzhu Subdistrict: Liangzhu boasts a long history and is a land rich in talent. It is the birthplace of the "Liangzhu Culture," hailed as the "Dawn of Chinese Civilization." The Liangzhu Culture is a late Neolithic culture distributed around the Taihu Lake basin, characterized by black pottery and polished jade artifacts. It was named after first being discovered in Liangzhu in 1936 and dates back 5,300 to 4,000 years ago. The dawn of Chinese civilization rose from Liangzhu, making it a sacred site of the Chinese nation and Eastern civilization.
