Cangqian Subdistrict: The ancient town of Cangqian was originally named Lingyuan. In the second year of the Shaoxing era during the Southern Song Dynasty (1132), an official granary known as the Lin’an Convenience Granary was constructed north of the street. Since south was referred to as "front" in ancient times, the area came to be known as Cangqian Street, boasting a history of 873 years. Despite several changes in administrative jurisdiction and governance structure, the name Cangqian has endured. The subdistrict covers an administrative area of 52 square kilometers, comprises 10 organized villages and 1 community, with a population of 32,400. The Yu Hangtang River runs across the territory, while the East Tiaoxi River borders its western edge.
