Hangzhou · Jiangnan Man Village Scenic Area is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Located in Zhongqiao Village, Zhongtai Subdistrict, Hangzhou · Jiangnan Man Village Scenic Area is themed around “slow living and slow culture,” featuring “slow leisure, slow sports, and slow entertainment” as its core offerings. It’s an urban-rural leisure tourism area infused with the charm of countryside life, combining functions such as rural experiences, wellness retreats, fitness activities, eco-tourism, fruit picking, wedding photography, and business recreation.

The scenic area enjoys excellent transportation access, with the Hangzhou–Huangshan Expressway and Provincial Road 02 passing north of the village, situating it in a prime location within Hangzhou’s urban recreational belt. Boasting beautiful mountain and water scenery, a pristine ecological environment, and rich local flavor, the area has already launched several rural leisure spots such as “Tongjia Country Fun Park,” “Valley Performing Farmstead,” and “Banshan Farmhouse Restaurant,” making it an ideal weekend getaway for both locals and tourists.

In recent years, Zhongqiao Village has seized the opportunity presented by the Beautiful Countryside Initiative. Leveraging its favorable ecological conditions and tourism resources, and capitalizing on the development of a national AAA-level scenic area, the village has stayed focused on the goal of “bringing happiness to residents, joy to visitors, and prosperity to villagers.” By integrating scenic development with the creation of a beautiful countryside, the village has actively carried out environmental improvements and accelerated tourism project construction. Built upon a foundation of pastoral landscapes and characterized by “leisurely exploration of the slow village,” the area has become a comprehensive tourism hub offering multi-functional experiences in farmland immersion and rural leisure.

So far, the village has invested over 40 million yuan in tourism infrastructure including scenic walking trails, bicycle loops, parking lots, tourist toilets, and sewage treatment facilities. It has also introduced tourism attractions (projects) such as Tongjia Country Fun Park, Valley Performing Farmstead, Rui Li Manor, and Banshan Homestays.

Next, the area will be jointly developed by Hangzhou Commercial Tourism Group and Yuhang Tourism Group. In line with the “Zhongtai Subdistrict Industrial Development Plan South of Provincial Road 02,” and aiming for a national AAAA-level scenic area standard, the total estimated investment is 830 million yuan. The funds will be used to upgrade tourism infrastructure, develop core scenic products, and enrich the area’s unique offerings.

A rural pastoral-style leisure tourism area centered around “slow living” is gradually taking shape—offering busy modern urbanites a chance to steal moments of leisure, reconnect with nature, return to simplicity, and step into a village to experience a moment in time.

Zhongqiao Village: Located in the western suburbs of Hangzhou, Zhongqiao Village covers an area of 8.26 square kilometers. Among its green hills and clear waters are 18 natural villages, with 720 households and a total population of 2,318.
