The ruins of the pagoda courtyard at Dongming Temple are a protected cultural heritage site of Zhejiang Province.

The ruins of the pagoda courtyard at Dongming Temple are located on Dongming Mountain in Anxi Village, Liangzhu Subdistrict. Dating back to the Ming and Qing dynasties, this site is classified as an ancient ruin. It is one of the important ancestral pagoda courtyards of the Linji School of Chinese Buddhism, holding significant historical, archaeological, and religious value. Some of the tombs here have clearly identified occupants, including the 23rd Patriarch of the Linji School, Master Dongming Chan, the 24th Patriarch, Master Haizhou Cichan, and the 32nd Patriarch, Master Guyun Jian — all of whom were highly influential figures in the history of Chinese Buddhism.

In 2017, the ruins of the pagoda courtyard at Dongming Temple were designated as a provincial-level cultural heritage site of Zhejiang Province.

Anxi Village: Situated along the East Tiaoxi River, Anxi Village is part of the new Liangzhu urban area. In 2003, the former Xiaxi Village, Anxi Village, Zhongxi Village, Shangxi Village, and Shiling Village were merged to form the new Anxi Village. The village covers a relatively large area of 12 square kilometers, comprising 14 villager groups, 1,044 households, and a population of 4,102. It has mountain forested areas spanning 11,000 mu, tea plantations covering 400 mu, and three hillside ponds and reservoirs. The main agricultural structure of Anxi Village consists of rice, bamboo, tea, and early bamboo production, with the village economy primarily driven by bamboo and tea cultivation.
