Dongjian Bridge

Dongjian Bridge is a municipal-level cultural relics protection unit of Hangzhou.

Dongjian Bridge is located at the southeast corner of the residential building at No. 62 Tongqiao, Jingshan Village, Jingshan Town. It dates back to the Yuan Dynasty and is classified as an ancient architectural structure.

In 2009, Dongjian Bridge was designated as a municipal-level cultural relics protection unit of Hangzhou.

Protected area: approximately 20 meters outward from the bridge structure (including nearby residential buildings in close proximity to the bridge), with a total area of 2,200 square meters.

Construction control zone: to the east, extending to the contour line at the foot of the mountain and the extended exterior walls of buildings; to the south, extending approximately 30 meters beyond the protected area (to the extended exterior walls of buildings); to the west, bounded by the red line of the planned road; to the north, extending approximately 30 meters beyond the protected area, with a total area of 7,200 square meters.

Jingshan Village: Located on the northeastern peak of the Tianmu Mountain Range in Jingshan Town, Yuhang District, Hangzhou, Jingshan Village lies within the scenic area of Jingshan Temple, the foremost among the Five Mountains and Ten Monasteries of southern China, and is about 40 kilometers from downtown Hangzhou. The village administers six natural villages and nine villager groups, with a total of 515 farming households. It has 71 Party members, 43 villager (cooperative member) representatives, and a village leadership team of seven members, with a total population of 1,610. In 2010, the per capita income of Jingshan Village reached 13,480 yuan, and the village’s disposable income amounted to over 860,000 yuan, both increasing by more than 10% compared to the previous year.
