Shuichengmen

Shuichengmen is a cultural heritage site protected at the municipal level by Hangzhou City.

Shuichengmen is located on the north bank of the Nan’tiaoxi River in Tongji Community, Yuhang Subdistrict. It dates from the Ming Dynasty and is categorized as an ancient architectural structure.

In 2009, Shuichengmen was designated as a municipal-level cultural heritage site protected by Hangzhou City.

Protected area: extends approximately 5 meters beyond the structure itself, with a total area of 1,619 square meters.

Construction control zone: to the east, it extends about 30 meters beyond the protected area (to the exterior wall line of the first row of buildings along the road), to the south, it reaches the south bank of the Nan’tiaoxi River, to the west, it extends about 30 meters beyond the protected area, and to the north, it extends about 40 meters beyond the protected area, covering a total of 30,249 square meters.

Tongji Community: Located to the north of the ancient town of Yuhang, by the side of the Tiaoxi River, Tongji Community stretches from the extension section of Fengshan Road in the east, to Nanhu Pond in the south, to Pengyu Highway in the west, and to Tongbei Road in the north. Covering an area of 0.54 square kilometers, it constitutes the old urban area of Yuhang Subdistrict. The community currently has over 630 square meters of office and activity space, 3,545 resident households, and a population of 7,799 (including 2,244 registered households and 5,740 registered residents).
