Bao Ta Shan Martyrs' Cemetery is a municipal-level cultural heritage site in Hangzhou and a classic red tourism destination.

Bao Ta Shan Martyrs' Cemetery is situated at the southern foot of An Le Shan (Bao Ta Shan) in Yuhang Subdistrict. It dates from 1962 and is categorized as a modern-era important historical site and representative architecture.

In 2013, Bao Ta Shan Martyrs' Cemetery was announced as a municipal-level cultural heritage site under protection by Hangzhou City.

Yuhang Subdistrict: The ancient town of Yuhang lies 23 kilometers west of downtown Hangzhou, on the southern bank of the Nan Tianxi River. It is backed by the Tianmu Mountain Range to the west and connects to the Hangjiahu Plain to the east. With its crisscrossing river networks, lush green hills, and abundant produce, it has long been known as a “land of culture, a silk route hub, a fruit-growing region, and a land of fish and rice.” The subdistrict governs 16 administrative villages, 5 communities, and 281 villager groups, with a total population of 57,392 and a total area of 93 square kilometers.
