“Chaofeng” Inscription

The “Chaofeng” Inscription is a municipal-level cultural relic protection unit of Hangzhou.

The “Chaofeng” Inscription is located at the summit of Chaoshan Mountain within the Chaoshan Scenic Area in Tangqi Town. Dating back to 1961, it falls under the category of modern important historical sites and representative architecture.

In 2009, the “Chaofeng” Inscription was designated as a municipal-level cultural relic protection unit of Hangzhou.

Protected area: The entire Yu Xi Temple site, covering a total area of 1,228 square meters.

Construction control zone: East, south, and north to the 230-meter contour line; west to the 250-meter contour line, covering a total area of 8,839 square meters.

Chaoshan Scenic Area: The planned scope of the Chaoshan Scenic Area Management Committee covers an area of 26 square kilometers, bordered by Provincial Highway 304 (formerly Provincial Highway 09) to the east, National Highway 320 to the south, the under-construction Qiushi Expressway Yuhang section to the west, and the planned Kangtai Road to the north; the managed total area is 18.685 square kilometers, specifically including five administrative villages under the jurisdiction of Tangqi Town: Chaoshan Village, Taishan Village, Chaoding Village, Dinghe Village, and Dingshanhe Village, as well as two communities under the jurisdiction of Linping Subdistrict: Chenjiamuqiao and Tunli; the area of the Chaoshan Scenic Area itself is 6.01 square kilometers (pending approval by the People’s Government of Zhejiang Province). … Detailed information on the Chaoshan Scenic Area++
