Hangzhou Zhijiang Cultural and Creative Park

Hangzhou Zhijiang Cultural and Creative Park was jointly developed by the Xihu District Party Committee, District Government, and the Party Working Committee and Management Committee of Zhijiang National Tourism Resort. It is one of the first ten cultural and creative industrial parks named by Hangzhou. The total planned area covers 2,351 acres, with an overall layout designed as “two points and one line,” comprising two key locations — China Academy of Art’s Xiangshan Campus and Phoenix Creative International — and the development axis that connects them. Centered around the integrated functions of “creativity, industry, and living,” the park serves as a creative industrial hub that combines industry development, incubation, exhibitions, artistic leisure, and distinctive supporting facilities. In November 2010, it was jointly named the “China Academy of Art National University Science and Technology (Creative) Park” by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Science and Technology, becoming the first national university science and technology park in China with a focus on art and creativity.

Public Transport Information:

Bus Route 189 reaches the park, passing through Guanxiangkou, Gulou, and Jiuxi, with the final stop at South Chuangyi Road, which is the main entrance to the park.

Self-Drive Route:

Starting from Hangzhou Railway Station or Xiaoshan International Airport, take Zhijiang Road → the intersection of National Highway 320 and Xiangshan Road → Zhen’nanyi Road → Chuangyi Road;

Starting from Xixi Wetland, take Liusi Road or exit at Zhuantang on the Hangzhou Ring Expressway → National Highway 320 → Yunhe Road → Zhen’nanyi Road → Chuangyi Road.
