The Tomb of Wu Song is a cultural tourism attraction.

Introduction: The Tomb of Wu Song is located by Xiling Bridge on Beishan Road, about 50 meters west of the Tomb of Su Xiaoxiao, facing the beautiful West Lake. The tomb is 2.8 meters high, with a grave ring that is 1.1 meters high and 4 meters in diameter. The passageway is 6 meters wide and 10 meters long. The tombstone stands 3 meters tall and is made of Fujian bluestone. The stone pillars on either side of the memorial archway are inscribed with a couplet: “In disappointment, be among the bold; in glory, be a hero,” written by the famous author Feng Jicai. The Tomb of Wu Song was built in 1924, demolished in 1964, and the current site has been reconstructed according to old photographs to restore its original appearance. The legend of the monk Wu Song first appeared in Zhou Mi’s *Gui Xin Za Shi* (“Miscellaneous Records of the Gui-Xin Era”) during the Song and Yuan dynasties, in the section titled “Eulogies of the Thirty-Six Heroes of Song Jiang.” In the late Yuan and early Ming dynasties, Shi Nai’an’s *Water Margin* states that Wu Song became a monk in Hangzhou and spent his final years there, eventually being buried in the city. In reality, *Water Margin* is a fictional literary work, and these historical sites have no factual basis. To some extent, they represent an emotional tribute from the public.
